All right, welcome back to another episode of Theology Applied. I'm your host, Pastor Joel Wevin

0:03.7

with Right Response Ministries. And in this episode, I am talking with my friend William Wolf about the

0:09.4

SBC, about the upcoming convention, the law amendment that's on the books to vote for male pastors

0:15.7

upholding biblical fidelity, 1st, Timothy 3, Titus chapter 1, what the Bible teaches and what the church has held

0:21.7

for centuries and centuries until 15 minutes ago. And I'm holding my book up right now,

0:27.8

without it being just a surrender.

However, there are some strong distinctions

1:02.3

that William and I, you know, we flesh out in this episode

1:05.3

where leaving a blue state like California

1:07.9

and where you geographically live as a Christian

1:10.7

is not a one-to-one ratio

1:12.5

for leaving the SBC as a local church. It's not the same thing. The fight-by-flight principle

1:19.5

does not necessarily apply. Some ways it does with the SBC. Some ways it doesn't. And that's what we get

1:26.1

into in this conversation. Should you stay? Should you go? What do you do if you're in the SBC, some ways it doesn't. And that's what we get into in this conversation.

1:28.3

Should you stay?
