talking about when to send them and when to bring them home. We're going to talk about the church

in general. What time is it?

What phase of rebuilding Christodom are we currently in?

We argue that we are in a consolidation phase, that we have spread our forces too thin,

not only abroad in the case of missionaries, but also domestically in the case of church planting.

We also spend a lot of time in the second half,

the last 30 minutes of the episode, talking about wealth and talking about the poverty gospel,

talking about David Platt, talking about John Piper, and some really, really bad ideas that

have crippled Christian households and crippled our ability to be successful and influential that we might

wield power, which is not icky, that's not a Christian idea, but wield power, which is not

inherently evil, using it in a righteous direction for the glory of King Jesus. These are the
