About the speaker: Fr. Dominic Legge, O.P., is the Director of the Thomistic Institute and an Assistant Professor in systematic theology at the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. He holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, a Ph.L. from the School of Philosophy of the Catholic University of America, and a doctorate in Sacred Theology from the University of Fribourg. He entered the Order of Preachers in 2001 and was ordained a priest in 2007. He practiced law for several years as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice before becoming a Dominican.

1:00.4	Father Dominic is my counterpart as the director of the Thomistic Institute at the Dominican House
1:09.1	of Studies in Washington, D.C.
1:11.6	Father Dominic holds a doctorate in law from Yale Law School,
1:17.6	and he practiced constitutional law for several years
1:22.6	as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice. He then joined the Dominican order in 2001 and he
1:33.6	holds a license in philosophy from the Catholic University of America and a doctorate in theology
1:41.7	from the University of Freiburg in Switzerland.
1:46.0	He is taught at the Catholic University of America and at Providence College.
1:53.0	And among other things, he's the author of an important monograph entitled
