Hi everybody this is Gatsad earlier this year I appeared on Joe Rogans

it was my 10th appearance and I explained in quite a bit of details various aspects of the ongoing Middle East crisis.

At one point I discussed the meaning of asymmetric lives lost and whether that is the relevant

currency when judging the morality of the war.

Let me explain it again because I think some people are having a hard time

understanding it. Let's suppose that you have the following two crimes. One person commits involuntary manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter, and they kill four people. So there are four people dead.

Another person takes out an insurance policy on their spouse, hires a hitman to kill that person.

So it's premeditated murder with pecuniary needs or pecuniary pursuits meaning trying to kill for money and it turns out though that the

hitman is a undercover police officer and therefore the plan that was hatched doesn't end up coming to

fruition. So in one case you have four people killed and the other case you have zero people killed and yet in the latter case that person is likely to receive a much more severe sentence despite the fact that four is greater than zero.

You follow?

Because there is this thing called intent, right?

In one case it was involuntary manslaughter, in the other case it was premeditated murder with pecuniary goals and therefore even though no one was killed it's a greater crime it's a more

immoral crime it's a greater criminal infraction so now when it comes to Israel versus the Palestinians, the fact that

the Israelis end up killing more Palestinians when they retaliate doesn't in any way no human being that has three

neurons firing in their brains would say that that's the currency that matters

right there were many carpet bombing That's the currency that matters, right?

There were many carpet bombings during World War II

where on any given day, the allies killed more people

than the Germans.

The Americans dropped two bombs on Japan

where most of the people who were killed
