God has given to us a limited, finite, certain number of minutes and hours and days.

We're to be investing them so we'll have something to give back to the Lord that is more than what he entrusted to us in the first place.

The Instruction of a Father. I've been trying to share with you counsel an instruction that I

received from my father and my mother as well during the first 21 years of my life before my dad went to be with the Lord.

And it's been such a joy for me to reflect on these teachings because now I've been without my dad longer for more years than I actually had him.

And I'm just thinking about how many of these foundational, fundamental principles

that he demonstrated and taught us as we were growing up,

what an impact they've had on my life.

And how many blessings I am reaping today

because of heeding the instruction of my father. I wish I'd heated more. I wish I could have more.

By God's grace, I did listen to most of my dad's counsel and if not sooner than later.

And now I'm, I'm having a ball. Now it's not that there aren't hard things and things you wish

were a little different,

but there's such joy that I'm reaping in my life as a result of years of planting seeds,

of listening to instruction, taking counsel, choosing to obey the Lord, letting His grace work in
