I am Steve White here at our Inglewood, California newsroom, and in just a few minutes,

we're going to be joined by NFL media's Bucky Brooks and Nick Shook.

But later in the show, Colorado head football

coach Dion Sanders and his son, his quarterback, Shador Sanders, they're going to sit down for a little

chat, as will Jaguars head coach Doug Peterson, plus we're going to be talking AFC North

storylines a little bit later. But first, Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson,

who signed a four-year $140 million contract this offseason, said on the Rich Eisen show that

he understands why quarterback Kirk Cousins left Minnesota for Atlanta, but thinks the Vikings

will remain competitive with Sam Darnold or

J.J. McCarthy at the helm.

I feel like he just wanted a new start, a new opportunity to, you know, start with Atlanta

and a clean slate.

And I'm not mad at him at all for that.

I'm grateful for what he has brought to me and

you know the things that we have accomplished together. But, you know, at the end of the day, it's a business and, you know, you got to do what you got to do for yourself and for your family. And I clearly understand that.

But, you know, it's on to the next.
