It's my pleasure.

Yeah, so this book is packed with information and just sort of tells this story in an incredibly

compelling and well-reported way.

And I want to start actually with, I guess you would call it an epigraph that the book starts

with.

It's because it puts it so clearly.

And I imagine that's why you juxtaposed these two quotes before folks even get into the

book.

You have a quote from Will Hayes who's the president of the Motion Picture Producers and

Distributors of America in 1923 who said, every film that goes from America abroad, wherever

it shall be sent, shall correctly portray to the world the purposes, the ideals, the accomplishments,

the opportunities, and the life of America.
