planning this episode just off the cuff before we start recording, I was getting really, really excited

to do this episode.

So before we get into it, Rose, do you want to tell us a bit more about your FDS journey and why you decided to apply to become a host? Thank you for asking. Yes, I would love to tell you about

this journey of mind. This has been a life-changing journey.

I think I was the ultimate pick-me before I ever knew what that term meant.

And in fact, you know, I'm a bit of an old school, born in the early 80s, girly.

And so I was really much more of an analog, and I still am, an analog person versus digital.

So, for example, I've never, like, gotten on the gram.

I don't have TikTok.

I don't even own a TV.

I do own a computer that I watch my DVDs on.

To be honest, I don't have TikTok and I don't watch TV either.

Like, people like, you know, have you watched this show?

And I'm like, I literally don't watch TV. Exactly. Exactly. I mean, it's just commercials and propaganda anyway, right? So,

hmm. It's one of the ways I shut out the digital noise and just the incessant consumerism

directed directives. So I listen to LPs and records. I have a DVD

and a CD collection. I like to cook from scratch. I like to call my friends and family on the phone

and have long conversations about nothing. You know, in that way, I feel like I'm a little old
