Adivasi scholar from Lombard community based in Telangana State of India. Adivarsi scholars in Indian academia have rarely found space or recognition due to the lack of

implementation of affirmative action policy and the hegemony of Brahmin and uppercast Hindus in higher educational institutes.

However, Professor Bukia is among the few Adevasi scholars whose work has a

a PhD in the field of history and Adewasi studies. He has a PhD from Wauwick University

where he worked under the supervision of Professor David Hardman, a founding

He was also a British Council Visiting Fellow at School of Oriental and African Studies University
