It was on this very show yesterday that we heard,

Secretary of State for Health, Jeremy Hunt, stand up in the House of Commons

and reveal the breast cancer blunder that could so far have cost as many as 270 lives.

450,000 women were let down by a system that completely failed to notify them.

They needed routine mammograms between 2009 and 2018. That's a nine-year period. It's yet another

example of how the NHS seems to be incapable of dealing with large numbers. It's consistently

failed to make IT systems work properly and it can't really be trusted to not make the kind of mistakes that can inevitably
