It's been a harrowing 24 hours as we've all been reliving the horrors of the Manchester bomb last year

and the start of the inquiry into how the Grenfell disaster could have been allowed to happen. As heartbreaking as a testimony was yesterday from survivors

of the fire, a new investigation has revealed that not only was the inferno preventable, but that

the company that manufactured the insulation actually misled the main contractors about its safety

and fire resistance. And now, thanks to panorama, we know that the material

is on hundreds of other buildings all over the country. The fire reggae union is now calling for a

major investigation and the company Cellotex is cooperating with the police. There are so many

failings of so many safety precautions in this story. It's almost impossible to know where to start,

but certainly it does seem as though there will be some charges being brought for corporate manslaughter,

and probably somebody should be going to jail.
