Radio. It's Sagi Javid's first real day on the job and already he's having to hit the ground

running. Three of his predecessors are calling for the introduction of ID cars to prevent

another windrush catastrophe.

And I'm beginning to think they might actually be onto something.

Aside from adopting the stupid-looking Tory power pose when he was appointed yesterday,

Mr. Javid, has already promised to, in his words, do whatever it takes to put things right.

But what better opportunity does he have than this?
