0:36.7	more will change around the way we do our work over the course of the next 20 years,

0:45.8	In fact, I think we're at the dawn of a new age in human history.
0:51.0	Now, there have been four major historical eras defined by the way we work.
0:56.8	The hunter-gatherer age lasted several million years.
1:00.4	And then the agricultural age lasted several thousand years.
1:04.3	The industrial age lasted a couple of centuries.
1:07.8	And now the information age has lasted just a few decades.
1:11.6	And now today, we're on the cusp of our next great era as a species.
1:17.6	Welcome to the augmented age.
1:20.6	In this new era, your natural human capabilities are going to be augmented by computational systems
1:25.6	that help you think, robotic systems that help you make, and digital nervous system that connects you to the world
1:33.3	far beyond your natural senses. Let's start with cognitive augmentation. How many of you
