What a joy to welcome you here. I've been here eight times this year, but as Pastor Patrick mentioned, this is the my wife has been here for the first time this year. So I'm going to have her stand just so you can see her. And Chantal will be, we'll celebrate 38 years of marriage in January.

Say that a person next to you, Pastor Claude really married up.

Say that to somebody next year.

He married way over his head.

What a joy to be back to Times Square Church on the last Sunday of the year.

You know, the entire Bible teaches a culture of honor, warning us against the

flattering lips, but at the same time, admonishing us to give honor to whom honor is due.

In Philippians too, for example, the Apostle Paul will even command them to give honor and to hold in high esteem a man, Epaphroditeus,

who just carried an offering from one place to the other, and he got sick on the way,

and he was courageous, and he finished his task. And this man was invisible and unknown to everybody, but God once wanted him and wanted us to know that he's not.

That the kingdom of God is advancing because of men and women we don't often see.

So on this last Sunday of the year, here in Times Square Church, I want to do that. I want to do that today on the last Sunday of the year.

Would you, could you join me in honoring every man and woman who serve in this great church?

And in doing so, yeah. And in doing so, they are serving all of you online. They're serving hundreds

of thousands online. So whether it's on the welcoming team or ushers or in the lobby, security,

nursery, children, teenage ministries, musicians, singers, choir, worship leader, technical, the camera, lights, sound broadcast team, janitors, media people.

Can we, serving this, can we honor them today?

Thank you for this whole year.

We honor you. And can we honor our elders and our

pastoral staff, men of men and women of prayer, men and women of the Word of God, this church

as amazing elders and men and women of God. Can we honor our elders together?
