Hello, ladies and gentlemen, Merry Christmas, and it's the most wonderful time of the year.

Matthew chapter 1, I want to start reading with verse 18.

Now, the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise

when as his mother, Mary, was espoused to Joseph.

Before they came together, she was found with Child of the Holy Ghost.

Then Joseph, her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make a public example, was minded to put her away privately.

You got to understand, this girl, she decided that she can care about her reputation.

She told that angel, let it be, even as thou

has said, because that's how important it was. Verse 20, but while he thought on these things,

talking about Joseph, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream saying, Joseph,

thou son of David, fear not to take up unto thee, marry thy wife. That which is conceived

in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son and thou shall call his name Jesus,

which means Jehovah saves. Isn't that good? For he shall save his people from their sins.

Now all this was done that it might be fulfilled,

which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet saying,

Well, holy virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a son,

and they shall call his name Emmanuel, God with us. Jehovah saves God with us, which is being

interpreted is God with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had
