Hello everybody and welcome to the podcast of podcasts. We're going to take quite a journey today.

We're going back, not all the way back,

but darn near. Season two, and the thing that's nice about season two is nobody really knew

where the characters were going. The writers, you know, they had ideas and they were experimenting,

and we as actors were kind of experimenting, our personalities were starting to come out.

For instance, Jan, Jan, we kind of came to know in later seasons as the middle child

and sometimes feeling a little abandoned, a little jealous of her older sister, but not so in

season two. She's quite the jokester. In fact, the whole episode is focused on her,

and it's called the impractical joker. Let's travel back. I'm Barry Williams. And I'm Christopher

Knight. And we are the real Brady Rose. Yeah, I would say out of character for Jan.

That's sort of what tickled me about this episode.

Frankly, forgot.

It's been 50 years, probably since I've watched it,

that this was part of her repertoire.

I mean, frankly, this is an episode that I can see the boys,

having been written for one of the boys,

but deciding to give it to Jan.

Although the mouse thing kind of makes it necessary for it to be a Jan episode.

But, I mean, literally, this is the character that they write for Peter from later in year two on.

Again, and we've talked about this. I think they, in some ways, as the series progressed, you know, they throw a lot of people, kids at this episode, I mean, at this series.

And they don't really know, you know, what our personalities are, you know, what our,

what our likes, dislikes, that kind of a thing. And so they're kind of taking a shot in the
