And now here's Andrew. Welcome to our Wednesday's broadcast of the

Gospel Truth. Today I'm continuing to share on the baptism of the Holy

Spirit and really this is a follow-up to a teaching that I did

where Jesus taught his disciples

the night before his crucifixion.

In four different times, he just emphasized to them

how imperative it was that they receive the Holy Spirit because he would lead

them into truth and bring things to their remembrance and he would glorify Jesus and he would

empower them in a way that they never had before.

He said that the Holy Spirit had been with them and he shall be in them.

That's out of John Chapter 14. So there's a difference in having the

Holy Spirit with you and having him in you. There is no doubt that you can't be

born again without the ministry of the Holy Spirit. He draws people to the Father. You don't come

to God on your own. People will often say things like, oh, I found God. God wasn't one that was lost. You didn't find God. He found you. He knocked on

your door and you responded to the conviction of the Holy Spirit. So you can't

be born again. You can't have a relationship with God without the Holy

Spirit. But there's a difference in having the Holy Spirit deal with you and convict you and draw

you to God and then having the Holy Spirit indwell you. convict you and
