Welcome to our Monday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

This week I have something really special to share with you.

I'm going to be talking about the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we're going to emphasize

talking about speaking in tongues.

And this is actually a follow-up to a teaching that I was doing last week.

Actually, for five weeks I did a teaching

verse by verse through John 14, 15, and 16. And there are four different times

in there where Jesus emphasized how important it was to the disciples to receive the Holy

Spirit. And up until the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit had not come upon the disciples and prior to the day of Pinnacost they all

forsook him and fled when Jesus was crucified.

They had fear but after the day of Pentecost, when the disciples were arrested and brought before

the scribes and Pharisees, it said that they took notice of them that they had been with

Jesus.

And these men who had run from these very people,

the scribes and Pharisees, in total fear,

now that they had the baptism of the Holy Spirit,

they stood boldly and they said,

you judge yourself, which is right right should we obey men more than we obey God and they took notice of them that they had been with Jesus they were bold and you know what the difference was it was the Holy Spirit and I'm
