You know, despite the views you might see on YouTube because some weeks were high, some weeks we drop off a little bit. Despite the views you see on YouTube, we're still new, we're growing. We are. And we're spreading the word about sobriety. Caesar's health group. It's our presenting sponsor if you're struggling with substance abuse eating disorders Mental health call this number 844-977-4609 Even if you want to have a casual conversation on the phone if you're struggling. There's an interventionist there Somebody's always available to talk to you whether you want to talk about trying to get set up to go to a meeting. If you want inpatient help, outpatient help, they work with a private network of treatment centers, both inpatient and outpatient for people who are kind of new to the show or new to sobriety. Inpatient is where you actually go to facility and stay there for a period of time, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, whatever the case may be. Outpatient is right and you're pretty much living at your house where you live and then you go every single day or a couple of times a week to these meetings. When you call this number and a Dixon Specialist, we'll answer and point you in the right direction. This is Big, heath It is big. This is big for us. These are good people over there too helping a lot of people help people help people help in other people You know what I mean? You know, Seizard's health group friend of Jerry. They support us. We support them. This is big friends of Jerry over there. This is big There's been a lot of talks about the Chicago Bears, Jersey, Jerry feud, Bear Nation. You know, okay, I'm not going to comment on the situation anymore. I said what I said, I stand to it. Yeah. I feel like I was treated disrespectful. You know, and Bears Nation came out, came, came at it, me pretty tough. But rightfully so, they support their fans. I support the Pittsburgh Steelers. We'll just see who has a better year. Yeah. I mean, this is something that I don't know. I've told you, but you know, I am an Ohio state fan. So I'm going to say this. I'm not going to say his name because we don't say the man who will not be named. I was a big fan, big fan at his time playing for Ohio state. and I'll just, I'll let it be known right here and right now where I stand. I stand with Jersey Jerry. Yeah. I mean, sometimes you have to pick a side. Yeah. I've chose my side. I think if you're not from Chicago, they stand with Jersey Jerry. If you're from Chicago, they ate Jersey Jerry. They despised Jersey Jerry. Jersey Jerry might not be able to step foot in Chicago for probably not for a very, very long time. I was thinking about making like a bet or a deal with some of these people. I don't know. I got to figure it out. You know, but I, you know, I'll let Justin Fields play speak for himself this year and I'll let Mitch Rabinski's play speak for itself this this year You know they can say all they want have fun with our leftover mitch sucks. It's still a suck. You know, Kevin I've been here in this For about 10 years now straight have fun at the bottom of the division Steelers have not been at the bottom of the division For a very, very, very, very long time. |
| 4:25.4 | Decades. |
| 4:26.0 | People just want to see them there, and they're never there. Yeah, they're never there. They just have a really good franchise, and they're just somehow always competing. Somehow. As a Cleveland Browns fan, it hurts me to say, they do everything the right way. Yeah, they do. They do. And Chicago, they can hate me all they want. That's okay. |
| 4:45.8 | Listen, I used to love the cake shake from Portellos. They do and you know Chicago they can hate me all they want that's okay |
| 4:49.3 | Listen I used to love the cake shake from portillos. I |
| 4:54.2 | Used to love it. It was one of my favorite favorite desserts little sweet |
| 5:00.7 | It's you know what it is. It's a it's a shake. It's in portillos. It's like a hotdog place |
| 7:46.3 | Right, and the first time I've ever had it was in Chicago. And it's this shake with a piece of chocolate cake in it. It's it. Listen, I loved it. I've always been a fan of the cake shake. I don't like it anymore. Your taste buds change. They just changed. They randomly changed. When was the last time you had it? it Couple months back and it didn't hit the same Didn't hit the same Didn't didn't hit the same I'll be honest, you know, I'll be honest. It just didn't hit the same So yeah, I asked for the Chicago, you know people wanted to give me to give another statement What I thought about the situation. How do I feel of all bears nation coming at me? I don't really care You know hate me that's fine. You like me great if you're a Chicago fan Best of luck this year best of luck I don't think Ryan Griffin is the savior that you just picked up I don't think that's your savior savior, but moving right along here. Let's get into talking about, you know, the resources that are available to everybody, man, to try to get help. There's always help somewhere. And like for me, I always thought like when I was struggling like, oh, nobody, nobody wanted to help me. Nobody cared. And the reality of it is there's so many resources to get help just like, you know, Cesar's health group. Like there's so many people and places out there that you can reach out to if you're struggling. If you want to hit a meeting, if you want to know where to go to hit a meeting, there's so many people that you can reach out to personally. And I'll be honest, man, for me, people know I try to get back to a lot of my DMs, especially if it's somebody, like if somebody's going to message me saying, Jersey, Jerry, you're a piece of shit, I'm probably not going to back at you. You know, you know, Jersey Jerry, Mitch Scherbisky, stinks. I probably won't get back at you. Maybe I'll like the comment or something like that. But if someone's saying, hey, Jersey Jerry, I'm really struggling. I just wanted somebody to talk to. Boom, I'm usually always trying to respond and I always try to give help. I'll give you an example February 2020 It's a kid who messages me on Instagram Now this is two years ago almost a little over two years, right February March April Yeah, over two years ago February 2020. There's a kid. I'm not gonna say his name messages on Instagram. And it's Jersey Jerry. I love that you're sober. I love that you're like a blue collar worker. I've been struggling for a couple of years now. I'm an alcoholic. I don't know what to do. Bo, blah, blah. And we talked in the chat. I gave him my number and we got to talk in a little bit for a couple days and I would text them every morning on my way to work and it wasn't weird but it was like I would just be like hey are you sober today and every day he would be like no I'm not you know I drank or I drank last night or and we kind of slowly just stopped talking and that was fine you know and I got a message last week from the kid and he's like hey Jerry Jerry just want to let you know still had your number hope all as well hope you and her family are great today's my first day sober it's amazing bro that's what it's all about what it's all about you know fast forward I mean these last two years, I probably didn't really think of the guy much, you know. He had my number. I had his number and we had casual conversations for like a week and a half, two weeks and just trying to help as much as possible. But, you know, fast forward, just random message, just like that. And you said the last time you talked to him was like... |
| 9:05.2 | 2020. |
| 9:06.2 | So yeah, over two years ago, I mean, that just goes to show |
| 9:09.0 | like how something small like that may not seem like a lot to you, |
| 9:14.1 | but like people hang on to things forever, you know? |
| 9:16.4 | Oh, dude, for sure. |
