Summary
I had the opportunity to interview Stephanie DeLussey and I have to say, this is one of my favorite interviews. Stephanie gets vulnerable about mental health and how she has not only dealt with anxiety in her life, but also how she works at it daily to make sure she is showing up in the world as her best self. In this interview, we talk about the importance of personal development and how it plays such an important role in your life, but before we go on, let me tell you a little bit more about Stephanie.
Stephanie is a dual-certified special education teacher, currently residing in the Atlanta, GA area. She started her TpT "side-business" in 2011 and worked Full Time as a special ed teacher up until being diagnosed with severe anxiety in January 2017. Currently, Stephanie creates high-quality, engaging adapted resources for teachers and students with special needs, provides professional development for teachers at colleges and conferences, and mentors teachers online through her website and social media outlets. She is also a huge mental health advocate, sharing her experiences and struggles to let others know that you can survive the dark seasons and thrive in life with a mental illness.
I can't wait for you to hear this one, Go-Getters, and I hope you take something from this episode.
In this episode you will learn:
- About Stephanie's journey as a teacher and an entrepreneur
- How Stephanie has dealt with anxiety in her life
- How Stephanie has dealt with "mean girls" in school and online and how she worked through those times
