Welcome to C2, this first virtual iteration of C2.

I'm a Montrealer. I'm Cheryl Azhar and was at C2 last year in person.

So it's great to be involved again from Venice, California basically in my bedroom.

Makes it, I guess, a bit easier.

I also want to say hi to everyone joining from around the world.

Let us know where you're from in the chat, although I'm very sad that I can't be home.

So this is like, this is good, but it would be nice to be home with my family at all of you right now.

But this is good enough of course.

With that said, audience interaction is at the core of the C2 experience.

I am also pretty devastated.

C2 has always fallen in that first weekend in May, which has always been my mom's birthday weekend.

And my mom is my mom and my hero.

So I never travel in that weekend.

So for about seven or eight years, I've dreamed of doing C2 when it first kind of hit my radar about a decade ago,

had been invited in the past was devastated that I could never really make it logistically work.
