0:08.0

Now, some of you may know her as sex with Emily. She has had a podcast and has been teaching the

0:14.3

world about the importance of sex, how to have good sex for over 20 years. She is a two-time best-selling author. She has a membership

0:25.3

group called Smart Sex. She has an incredible website if you want to check it out. But for the sake

0:31.2

of this conversation, why I wanted to bring her to all of you is that I am having more and more conversations with women

0:40.0

about how disconnected they feel with their bodies as they age.

0:46.7

And for some of us, this might show up as we don't feel like having sex anymore.

0:51.9

0:55.0

1:02.2

trauma and sexual assault feel like they don't even want to think about sex anymore.

1:09.0

And yet sex is pleasure. And so in this conversation with Emily,

1:14.9

I wanted to talk about the art of pleasure. And you're going to see that we talk about it from

1:20.3

a couple different angles. We talk about it from just how do we as women experience pleasure.

1:27.0

So many of us are disconnected from what

1:29.6

pleasure even means. And this doesn't have anything to do with sex. She and I go through a whole

1:35.6

conversation about all the ways we can get pleasure that is not even sex related.

1:41.3

Then we go through connecting you to your body and we talk about how do you make your

1:46.6

feminine body feel safe. How do you allow sensuality back into your life? Also, not anything to do

1:55.2

with the physical act of sex. And then at the end of the conversation, we talk about the benefits of either solo

2:04.3

sex or sex with another from the lens of creativity, from the lens of health of your body.

2:13.4

We went in a lot of different directions with this conversation that was way more than how do you have good sex.

2:23.3

So please listen all the way through. Again, my goal always is to help all of us be more in our body, to fall in love with our female bodies.
