I'm really excited to be here today to talk about the importance of being in the word as a family.

And you know, we can't be a godly mom without being a godly woman. And so one of the things I love

to do is to mentor moms in homeschooling, but also in motherhood and faith and many other areas.

And there's a very special place that I'm doing that.

I want to share that with you right now.

We all know it's important to be in the word with our kids, but sometimes things just get in

the way and we get distracted, right?

Even with one child at home this can

happen folks let me tell you i thought eight was you know the big distraction but it can i distract

myself sometimes this is what i'm finding out i can be my worst distraction but today i'm going to be

talking about the importance of being in the word

as a family, as an encouragement to you not to give up. I'm not here to make you feel guilty. If that's

not happening for you right now, I'm here to give you a word of encouragement and help lift you up

so that you can go back to it. You know, with eight kids born in 13 years and five of them

being boys, I cannot tell you how much perseverance it took to keep going back to being in the word
