so okay speaking of other things going on in the world equally as important as my

shirt here this is a big week in case you guys haven't heard the united states just re-elected

president-elect donald trump to become our 47th president on january 20th 2025 and markets

were absolutely loving it and they have been so far completely ripped on Wednesday

after the announcement. Basically everything rallied. Oil prices fell. It was a great sign for

what financial markets expect from a Trump administration round two. Today, continued the uptick

for the most part. Now, we saw the Russell 2000, small cap Russell 2000 down about 35 basis points

on the session here today.

Financials had a relatively rough session as well, potentially something to do about

less regulatory changes going on there, making balance sheets a little bit less solvent, or not

less solvent, but less fortified, I guess would be a better word. But still, less restrictions.

Wouldn't that mean more opportunity for lending? Who knows? But either way, financial small counts

were down for the session. S&B 500 was up 74 basis points on the day. Tech had a solid day,

for the most part, despite, or in the face of Wolfspeed. Wolfspeed is a chipmaker. We'll talk about them in a quick second.
