Hey, everyone. The Illustrated Man is about a man who's not even illustrated. He just has tattoos.

I'm going to start calling myself the illustrated man because I'm always illustrating cool

principles. The book is by Ray Bradbury. I'm Kellett Erskine. I'm a comic, a father,

and I've loved Ray Bradbury since I was a kid, but based on the last Bradbury book we

covered, I'm now bracing myself for Dave to ruin more of my childhood with this episode.

And I'm David Vance. I think Bradbury went into sci-fi because his first name Ray is a science

word. Wouldn't you write sci-fi if your name were Big Bang Jones?

The Illustrated Man is a collection of short stories, half about terrors in space, half about

terrors on Earth.

Geez, you can't satisfy this guy.

About that being the first episode for people to listen to you. I'm glad that he liked it,

or she? I'm assuming it's a he because he says that the birth of his son

was awesome. If you could choose an episode or two for people to start with, what do you think

you would choose? I would start on good economics for hard times. I actually was, I think, a good episode, just my least favorite book of these first 90.

But boy, did I make a lemonade out of those lemons.
