Summary

SO THRILLED to have Samantha Chung, @simplifying.sam on the podcast! I love this gal and you'll see why. We get into a concept she's talked about online frequently - the illusion of the "goalpost," where we're working towards something in the future that we think will provide us with what we want / the emotions we're looking for in the NOW.

We also talk about abundance, how to love the NOW even more, and conceptualizing all we have through the lens of our past selves / what would be super inconvenient to NOT have.

Hello, my friends. Welcome back to big conversations. I'm so pumped. Okay, I have been planning

1:03.4

to have Sam on the show for a little. How long? It's probably been like seven, eight months.

1:10.0

I went on her show, which is my favorite podcast, spiraling higher. And you guys probably know Sam from TikTok at simplifying Sam and we become such good internet friends. And she's dancing around. It's just her amazing energy. But I had to have her on the show, obviously, and it's been a long time coming,

but to find timing as always. So say hi, Sam. Hi, Haley. Oh my God, it really has been,

than 24 months. So to have gone from you being an internet face to an internet friend and now a co-creator, it feels like such a blessing. And Haley did come on our podcast, The Spirling Higher podcast, on my birthday, remember? We recorded. Yes. Yeah, we recorded on my birthday. And I had this moment where I was like, oh my gosh, I have a job and a reality that I don't want to escape from on my birthday. Like, I can't think of anything better to do on my birthday than talk to Haley. And that episode was such a banger, by the way, we still get so many comments saying like, oh my God, like can you bring Haley back? And I'm like, yes. So we have to bring you back. But I'm excited to co-create
