A few weeks ago, a bought train tickets from Glasgow to London

for Tuesday the 13th of December

for our friends wedding in London this week.

I was hopeful at the time,

because no strikes were down for that day.

But of course, less than 24 hours later,

the strikes this week were announced.

So we frantically bought plane tickets down instead,

albeit feeling a little guilty on behalf of the planet
