Ishen is six years old and lives in Girona, Catalonia, in Spain.

Hello, my name is Shen.

I live in Catalonia.

I am six years old and I would like a story about a two sisters,

an ice-bream cart and a dinosaur that can spit out fire and it can fly.

Yeah.

All right.

This story is called the ice cream cart that crosses the sky.

In the old city of Girona,

where the stone streets twist like braids and swallows swoop between flower-filled balconies, lived a girl named Ishen.

Ishen was clever and kind, and she lived in a sunny apartment with a terrace garden full of rosemary, mint, and a little lemon tree that never quite grew lemons.

Her favorite place was the terrace, where she could look down at the quiet square below and up at the sky above,

dreaming up wild stories about people who passed below and finding fantastical characters in the shapes of the clouds.

The terrace had always been magical, but when Scarlet came to live with them, the magic grew to

where it colored everything. Scarlet was younger, full of spark and surprise, with a laugh that made the lemonless tree stand a little bit taller, and the geraniums bloom just a little bit brighter.

She could turn a broom into a dragon, a tea towel into a cape, and a sleepy afternoon into a mythic quest.
