It is perfectly safe.

I've had the all clear.

I've been away, as you may know, for the past couple of weeks on a hot, ambient, and

canboidia.

And on flying back from Hanoi was told by my doctor, you've got to go for the coronavirus

test because I've got a bit of a cough.

And that was something they were worried about.

It was a little insight into the challenge facing the NHS now, and much greater challenge

that might come in the future.

To have that test required me to drive to the hospital, to park outside accident emergency,

but under no circumstances to get out of the car, the nurse I was told would come and

find me.

And when she did, she came in the full gear, a plastic face visor, thick rubber gloves,

and a disposable uniform.

And the sort of standard test that you get in any hospital appointment, feel blood pressure,

for your oxygen levels, for your heart rate, all had to be done through the car window

with me sitting behind the wheel, to offer some sort of guarantee that if I was carrying

the virus, happily I am not, that I couldn't infect anybody else.
