but I think this is only his third film role, George C. Scott.

Classic 1950 sitcom and Piper Laura, I don't, you know, I didn't look up her roles. I should have because these are the times where people need it.

You know, no one needs to know what films Ewen McGregor has been in, but like Piper Lori, I did did you dirty I'm so sorry. So I had never seen this film

before it's a black and white but it probably stylistic reasons I mean obviously you could film

in tutna color back then but it's it's a black and white film it's about a pool

shark that goes around and then plays pool for money and when he's not doing that he's

he's hustling, hustling marks out of their hard-won pool dollars.

Yeah, pool bucks.

It's funny because like when you said that you like this film,

because I know you know I've known you for a long time

and I know you're pretty resistant to like watching quote-unquote old films and I see this and it's like you know the

the opening scenes are like and I remember watching the first five or ten minutes and I'm like this is a black and white film.

It's kind of like right there at the ragged edge before like Method acted method acting really took over
