At the end of September, the southeastern United States was hit by Hurricane Helene. So it hit Florida at about 140 mile an hour winds,

so a category 4 storm,

and then tore its way northward through six states, going Georgia ending up in around North Carolina

and causing a massive amount of damage. My car is gone. I'm okay. It's okay. Everything's gone. It's all gone. This is

okay. This is downtown Marshall, North Carolina. The floodwaters are at 23 heat and the destruction. The at around 230 deaths from this hurricane so it is the deadliest hurricane to hit

the US since Maria which devastated Puerto Rico in 2017 and in terms of the

mainland US it's the dead list since

Katrina in 2005, so a really serious event.
