I'm on the phone with Ashfin, and today we are talking about The Hunt from 2020, directed by Craig Zobal, written by Nick Kuse and Damon Lindeloff, starring Betty Gilpin, Hillary Swank, and Wayne Duval.

This movie is about a group of 12 people who wake up on a large property where they learn they are being hunted.

And before we get into it, we want to give a shout-out and a congratulations to our friend

Stephen Markley, who you may remember from our misery episode back like two years ago,

Steve revealed on that episode that he's a huge Stephen King fan and he discussed the fact

this right Ash? Was that yesterday? Yeah, over the weekend. Yeah, it must have been yesterday.

feeling that was pretty surreal for steve i

can't imagine like a bigger honor like that's so cool yeah yeah yep so congrats steve uh super happy for

you and uh anybody who hasn't gone out and bought oh by Stephen Markley, you should definitely do it.

It's a wonderful book as per Stephen King.

Yeah, I'm considering diving into it for like the second round.

Such a good book.

Yeah, yeah.

I'm definitely going to read it again at some point.
