Summary

Myles Brennan has been waiting for his moment. No one understands patience or hunger like the fourth-year quarterback, who has bided his time in the quarterback room. His opportunity has arrived, although, as always, it has not arrived as planned.

If anyone can handle the wait and anxiety of the current moment, it's Brennan, who has known the emotions well in his time as a Tiger. He makes his Hey Fightin' Podcast debut to talk about his weight (hopefully for the last), his wait, what he's learned, and what he expects.

I was at home, pretty much the whole quarantine, and we would zoom every morning at 8, and then I would go work out, and then I would come home, and I had the whole, my parents set up like a little, it looked like an obstacle course, but it was really just like, really just, we have a bunch of trees on our property, and so we had, they had like targets, like spray painted onto the trees. They had gone and bought like these nets, like the cones set up, trash can't

And I was like driving home from workouts one day and looked onto like the property as I was driving up. And I just like this whole entire thing set up. My parents are out there like cutting the grass, making it all pretty. I was like, well, I can't ask for much more than this. And so I went up there and, you know, do my drills after I worked out.

It was crazy because before I actually found a place to work out at, I just was walking on the property with the chainsaw one day. I was just, like, cutting down trees and, like, cut down this tree and just use that as, like, I could lift it and bench it and put it on my back and squat it. So I just tried making the best of what I had.

And one of the guys that I talked with was, of course, as you know from the title of this

One of the things that we talked about was his weight, and I just want to put this out there now.

1:50.2

You kind of hear me talk about it on the show. I want everyone to stop asking Miles Brennan about his

weight. It's weird. It was weird when I asked him. I knew it was going to be weird.

1:59.7

He gets asked that question,

2:02.0

probably more than any question. And I want you to just put yourself in Miles Brennan's shoes

2:06.5

for a second and think about how weird it would be if every time you sat down to talk with somebody,
