We're going to start a new series.

Today it's going to be a four week series,

and the series is called O the Humanity.

And we're going to talk about humanity.

And all of its forms are going to talk about several different areas

of humanity, how we are to live and interact with those around us.

And so we're talking about what the role of humanity is,

and what our calling is, how we can fulfill that calling as humans.

And so to start off this week,

we're going to talk about the humanity of Jesus.

And that's the title of the message today.

And I just want to pause for just a minute.

The humanity of Jesus is not something that's talked about often.

Dad has shared several messages about it, and they're great.

If you want to go back to the website and look at those,

and I'm using those to inform how I go into this series.

But it's something that we talk often about,

the divinity of Jesus,

but we don't talk very often about the humanity of Jesus.

And this week, I have been going into this message feeling quite a bit of anxiety,

if I could say that, about taking on such a difficult topic.

And so I want you to hear my heart.
