Greetings, podcast followers.

We have today a release of the second of five animated videos in a series explaining the great simplification.

I had originally wanted to wait until all of them were done to provide context and direction for what this means for our

society and for our lives as individuals.

What's going on in Ukraine and Russia, I think is going to really prominently highlight

the role of energy in our lives and the relationship between

energy, money, technology, growth and the environment into normal conversations.

And that is exactly the subject of this second video, which is called the human superorganism, which is how

energy relates to our entire economic system, technology, money, and growth.

It's about eight and a half minutes long.

I'm very proud of it.

I think the animators did a beautiful job.

It was a hell of a lot of work.

We had like 40 iterations to get this done.

But I hope you enjoy it.

This is the second in a series.

In my opinion, this is an underappreciated and overlooked part of our reality that we need

to talk about more.
