I never in my life thought I would be living in LA.

I was going through a really hard time and then I was like doing research on mental health and I found the Battle Ready Podcast and I think I listened to it like 10 times like on repeat the first time I heard it because it challenged every viewpoint I have on faith and knowing God and I realized like I don't really

I didn't really try to get to know him and Mosaic it just made me want to know God in a super intimate way and it like lit this fire in me and I felt like God saw me.

It's incredible how an online community could ignite this hunger for more through a

podcast. So I packed up my life and came here because just being a part of it online wasn't enough.

I had to be here. I had to give back to it. I had to contribute and be a part of it. I mean that's my

greatest fear but also like my greatest desire is to be known

and here I'm like facing that fear every day but like it's like this community of

people who won't let you be less,

who won't let you like go back into hiding.

To say like I want to stay it's like saying I want to be known.

I want to be a part of something instead of like constantly running or being on the go or being somewhere else.

It's the first time where I'm like I'm here for this and I am literally all in. So last week we began a journey together that we're calling the human connection. We're going to take

some time and talk about this dynamic of human relationships, of how we connect to each

other and it is kind of a curious thing that the thing we all long

for most we fear the most that which we need the most we seem to be least capable of creating.

There isn't a single person who's ever walked on this planet

who hasn't long to connect to another human hang.

And there isn't a person on this planet

and their journey to connect hasn't at times felt frustrated or confused as to why making these connections are so difficult.

The scriptures tell us, and I'm going to tell you that we have some basic presuppositions here.

That human beings are designed in the image of God and that God is a God of relationship and love.
