Summary

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives the guys start the show off talking about their Christmas break, Christmas, New Years Eve and all of the things that go with the holiday season. Then they start the news portion of the show off with an interesting sighting that took place near St. Jacob, Illinois. The person said that he was driving home on the highway early one morning when he saw what can only be described as a 7 foot tall stick insect! The man claimed “An object appeared in my headlights on the right side, crossing the highway, looking like a giant walking stick with four legs. Its head turned as it ran and looked at me just before going out of lighted view.”

Then, a person who recently moved to a new house in woods had a terrifying encounter. The person grew up in a normal rural small town, but upon completion of high school they moved to a remote piece of property without any neighbors for miles. Over time the casual strolls through the nearby woods turned to terror, ending in being chased by some horrible looking creature! This thing was covered in hair, stood on two feet, had zero lips with giant sharp teeth.

After the break, Kyle brings up some more tales of Time Slips! A time slip is an alleged paranormal phenomenon in which a person, or group of people, travel through time into the supernatural (rather than technological) means. As with all paranormal phenomena, the objective reality of such experiences is disputed. The Time Slip Theory works from the premise that time is fluid rather than fixed. Time is not linear as we experience it, but exists within a context of a single point of space. For some reason people from all over the world have brief experiences where they can see the past, the future or the same thing happen again and again like loop.
