Last Thursday, the House passed a bill to help make projects that require federal permits

a little bit more shovel-ready.

This is the Speed Act that went through the House by a vote of 221 to 196,

with 11 Democrats crossing the aisle to vote yes.

For the record, that acronym stands for standardizing permitting and expediting economic development,

or the Speed Act, always want to

recognize those interns that are getting put to work, creating those clever acronyms.
