And then what I saw mostly on display last night, even in the 10 hour, which was odd, is Trump

as he wished he would have governed. Trump as he campaigned in 2016 as an outsider, not a politician,

as a person you know in your regular life, not an individual who steeped himself in policy and

politics. And certainly somebody who's willing to overturn these, you know, sclerotic consensus

that have pertained through democratic and republican administrations alike. And he just,

you know, flipped the table over and was this real, you know, force for against consensus.

And that's just simply not what happened. And Rick Rennell's speech was a speech from another

universe. It was a depiction of a Trump administration that does not exist and has never existed.

Save in the minds of the president's most populist and most, you know, for I don't have a

better term for it, but somebody who's really steeped themselves in their own BS.

That's the kind of administration that they wish Donald Trump has had. And with their

trying to portray Donald Trump as having had, and it simply doesn't exist. And it's very strange
