One year ago, on October the 7th, 2023, thousands of Hamas terrorists entered Israel and attacked civilians.

Around 1,200 Jews were killed. Hundreds were taken hostage. Some are still in captivity today.

It was the largest massacre of Jewish people since the Holocaust.

Among those who were killed were soldiers and civilians, men and women, children and adults,

and they were killed simply because they were Jews.

And so much has happened since.

Hamas has been largely devastated.

Huge portions of the Gaza Strip have been reduced to rubble.

Many Gaza non-combatants were killed in the crossfire, though it's impossible to know just how many.

Hamas is notorious for exaggerating civilian losses, and yet Western news agencies are quick to report those numbers.

What we do know is that Hamas embeds its fighters among civilians, so even with Israeli

precision, thousands have been killed.

And even more has happened in just the last few weeks.

Clearly, the Israelis are intent on putting an end to the threats it faces from all

different directions.

The amazingly coordinated pager attack, which incapacitated hundreds of Hezbollah operatives in Lebanon,

was quickly followed by a series of so-called decapitation strikes that wiped out the leadership of that Iran-backed terrorist group.

There are now reports of an all-out Israeli ground incursion into southern Lebanon

as well as plans for a massive Israeli retaliation to an extensive but largely ineffective missile

attack by Iran.
