Almighty God. As human beings, we constantly speak in the language of hope. Think about it. You say,

well, I hope it doesn't rain today, or I hope the stuff at work goes well, or I hope she's not

mad at me, or I hope that my husband will not be angry and he will see

the value of me again today. We say, I hope this sickness does not turn out to be serious and

overwhelm us. We talk about hope like it's the very thing that we breathe. We need it like we need oxygen. My dad always says this.

Everybody is on the hope train. It's the big train that takes you through life and everybody's on it.

We need hope like we need air. Without it will suffocate. It's part of what it means to be human.

So the question is not whether or not you're hopeful. I'm hopeful. I know that you're hopeful.

Everybody's hopeful. The man on the street whose homeless is hopeful. The little child is hopeful.
