perhaps you heard that Carl Paladino, 2010 Republican candidate for New York Governor,

current member of the Buffalo City School Board, expressed his fondest Christmas wishes

to a local Buffalo newspaper.

When asked, what would you like to mostly in 2016 answered?

Obama catches mad cow disease after being caught having relations with a heifer,

he dies before his trial and is buried in a cow pasture won't go on.

What would you like to see go away in 2017?

Paladino answered Michelle Obama.

I'd like her to return to being a male and let loose in the outback of Zimbabwe,

where she lives comfortably in a cave with Maxi the gorilla.

When the article hit Paladino give a sort of press conference-y thing where he said

it's time that these things are set and I say it with all sincerity.

And then the next day he wrote on his Facebook page,

it's about a little deprecating humor which America lost for a long time,

Merry Christmas, and tough luck if you don't like my answer.

But days later the tenor had changed, as had the word after main.

Those survey questions provided me with the spark to vent and write deprecating humor

about a bad present for whom the mainstream media continues to seek an undeserved legacy.
