The basic message of the Bible is easy to understand.

It's all about Jesus, our Savior.

As St. John wrote,

The blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses us from all our sin.

Jesus comes for sinners.

Jesus comes for you.

Music Christ warned us that there would be wars and rumors of wars.

Of course, that's kind of a shorthand for history.

We'll proceed just as history always has until the return of Christ.

But there is a war that outstrips every other battle in human history.

It is a battle that involves human beings, in particular, one human being, the the God man Jesus Christ. It is not just

a war or a spiritual war. It is the battle of all time and all eternity. And it is waged in the life

and the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. And he emerges totally victorious. There's no peace treaty.
