Chapter 3 and then open your Bibles to 1st Corinthians Chapter 14. We've been in a series on the Holy Spirit, and we've been talking

about the person and the work of the Holy Spirit. Recently we've been going

through the gifts of the Spirit. Last week we covered prophecy, tongues, and interpretation of tongues.

And so this week I want to talk about a prayer language.

So this hopefully will help you in this area that the Holy Spirit desires to pray through us and wants to pray through us.

I want you to know that you may have grown up in a in a traditional church that did not use the gifts.

Or you may have grown up in a church that abused the gifts,

whether they weren't used or whether they were abused, they the Bible and we need to learn about it and I want to help you in this area

I want to tell you a story as you get these two passages James 3 and 1st Corinthians 14.

Let me just tell you a story.

God created everyone and everyone spoke one language.

And you probably heard this story. They all came together and they decided to build a tower that would reach to heaven.

I've always wondered why God didn't let him try.

And the reason he didn't let him try. And the reason he didn't let him try was because he said they could do it.

Now that kind of blows me away.

I want you to think about this.

We emphasize that they were in unity.

This story is in Genesis 11.
