0:00.0	The Book of Acts is the book of the continuing Christ. What Christ began in the gospel records,
0:09.6	he continues in the book of Acts. In the first part of Acts, chapters 1 through 7, we joined
0:15.9	the adventures of what the Holy Spirit was doing through the apostles in the early church.
0:21.3	This work was primarily focused in Jerusalem.
0:24.7	The second section of Acts, however, advances beyond Jerusalem to Judea and Samaria.
0:31.2	In this section of our study, we see the power of the gospel on full display,

0:45.4	For the last several studies, we have been concentrating on a very famous passage of
0:50.3	scripture. It is commonly referred to as Philip and the Ethiopian Unique. We've talked about
0:57.0	being a gospel guide. Today, I want to show you what I believe is the real secret to the whole
1:03.3	thing. We've given several practical observations about how to guide others to God, but can I tell you
1:09.2	what the real secret of the whole thing is?
1:12.1	Philip was a man who was led by the Holy Spirit of God and empowered to get the gospel to
1:19.4	others.
1:19.9	This is really not the story of Philip and the Unic.
1:22.4	It is the story of the Holy Spirit and Philip.
1:26.3	Let's make it more personal. What about the Holy Spirit and me?
1:30.1	If you're a believer, the Holy Spirit lives inside of you, the question is not, is he there?
1:34.8	The question is, are you following him? Are you being used of him? Many people who are ignorant
1:41.0	of the Holy Spirit, totally ignorant of the Holy Spirit. A Simon in Acts chapter 8 is an example of that.
1:47.5	And some people want to use the Holy Spirit.
