Welcome to our rosary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for, especially praying for Troy Bettis, a young father who is really struggling with

So let's all lay siege to heaven for the healing of this father, Troy Bettis.

Now let's pause for a moment and you can call to mind your own intentions and I encourage you to voice them out loud if you're praying with others.

So why does God allow pain and sadness?

What is their purpose, and what are we to do with them?

Today's feast, the martyrdom of the holy innocence,

those little children whom King Herod murdered in his effort to prevent Jesus from becoming king,

they help us to answer these questions.
