The Haunted Hoia Baciu Forest | Paranormal Podcast We headed deep into the forests of Transylvania this episode to cover the Hoia Baciu Forest — Romania's answer to Skinwalker Ranch, except somehow weirder — a one square mile stretch of twisted, clockwise-spiraling trees that has been freaking people out since the Neolithic period and shows absolutely no signs of stopping. We broke down the urban legends, the anomalies, and the theories, from a little girl who disappeared for five years and came back in pristine clothes with zero memory, to a clearing where nothing will grow, UFO photographs that ended a military career, and a list of side effects from visiting that reads like a pharmaceutical ad for a drug you would absolutely never take. Three Reddit encounters rounded out the episode — each one creepier than the last — including two guys spending the night while something intelligent circled their campfire, and a group of college girls who heard a voice in the dark that was definitely not coming from their friend.
