First thing to touch on this week, though, Phil, because it happened just after the show

was released or recorded rather last week, is the passing of Trevor Cherry.

Yeah, and the second bit of bad news we've had in a very short period of time after Norman Hunter.

When I think of Trevor Cherry, I think of the guys who came into that dressing room

and into the established team that Don Revy created, after it had kind of got moving and after the momentum had got behind it.

And I've always had a lot of respect for Mick Jones, Alan Clark and more latterly, Trevor Cherry,

for being able to integrate themselves into what was rapidly becoming one of the best teams in the country and one of the best teams in Europe,

and managing to find a place in a dressing
