Dig Deep episode number two, the history of White-Till Deer Restoration in

Mississippi with Mississippi Deer Program coordinator William McKinley. Last week of September, right on the edge of October, Jordan and I are sitting here with

William McKinley. And before I go any further you kind of explain

if you don't mind where we're at right now the where we're sitting recording this podcast.

Sure be glad to we're at camp of the rising sun right here on the Choctaw, Tala County line right outside of

French Camp Mississippi.

And for those of you don't know, Camp of the Rising Sun is a traditional Christian summer

camp program.

Over 1,200 students, campers are going to be coming here every year.

And you can look out right out the window here, this big lake with a zip line, the sailboat,

the kayaks.

They have a lot of, it's a very popular destination.

Camp of the Rising Sun itself is a ministry of French Camp Academy.

Been here for... as a ministry of French camp academy.

Been here for almost 200 years now this academy has.

And it primarily provides a residential program for at-risk kids and accredited educational program

for students from all over the area and I'll say my daughter goes here.

She's been coming here since seventh grade, she's a junior now. She's a district kid. She drives in every day, but this is a great place. It's a safe place for kids. So I encourage people to look it up.

That's definitely a cool atmosphere that built out here for us I mean you feel
