I am your host and is historian Michael Bowling, and I am joined by my co-host, producer, and good friend Tom Bell.

Tom, how are you today?

Hey, Michael. I am well. Yourself?

Oh, I'm doing well. A little bit tired. We're recording on

Veterans Day and I walked in our town's Veterans Day parade today. Oh, excellent. So with our

with our Folsom City Zoo Dosen Sanctuary Dosens. Anyway, but so we, I was helping lead one of our miniature donkeys.

Oh, nice.

So it was a lot of fun. It was gorgeous weather. The parade is enormous.

We had, you would enjoy that we had Boy Scout, Girl Scout, and Cub Scout packs from not just our town, but

the neighboring towns were all marching in it. I mean, this parade went on for miles. And the

town turned out for it. I mean, it really was like a really small town, know atmosphere yeah not that it was really nice

so a lot of veterans were watching and participating and so it was terrific so and a lot of people

who are active military turned out for it too excellent yeah they keep. They keep our Boy Scouts busy today, putting flags up,

and then one of our local Veterans District's building has both a concert in the morning

and a dinner at night.
